Overview
At Dietitians of America, we strive to provide excellent service to all our users. This Refund Policy explains our policy regarding refunds for subscription fees paid for dietitian directory listings.
Subscription Refunds
Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscriptions, you may request a refund within 7 days of your payment date if you are dissatisfied with the service. Refund requests made after 7 days will not be honored. The refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, you may request a refund within 30 days of your payment date. After 30 days, refunds will be prorated based on the remaining unused months of your subscription. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from prorated refunds.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following circumstances:
- Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Failure to use the service or access your account
- Change of mind after the refund eligibility period
- Duplicate payments (duplicate charges will be refunded automatically)
- Services already rendered or features already utilized
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your listing will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles
- You will retain access to your account features until the subscription expires
- No refund will be issued for the current billing period unless within the refund window
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Your account email address
- The date of payment
- Your subscription plan
- Reason for the refund request

Processing Time
Once your refund request is approved, it will be processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Promotional Offers and Discounts
If you subscribed using a promotional code or discount, the refund amount will be calculated based on the discounted price you paid, not the full subscription price.
Payment Disputes
If you have a payment dispute or believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us immediately at billing@dietitiansofamerica.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
