Dietitians of America is a directory platform that connects individuals seeking nutrition services with registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs). We provide a searchable database of verified nutrition professionals and facilitate connections between clients and dietitians.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To create a dietitian listing, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Ensuring all information in your profile is accurate and up-to-date

Dietitian Listings

Eligibility

To create a dietitian listing, you must be a registered dietitian nutritionist with valid credentials and an active license in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide proof of credentials upon request.

Listing Requirements

All listings must:

Contain accurate and truthful information
Include valid contact information
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Not contain misleading or false claims
Be professional and appropriate

Subscription and Payments

Paid listings require a monthly subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Impersonate any person or entity
Harvest or collect information about other users
Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Create fake or fraudulent listings
Use automated systems to access the Service
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Professional Relationships

We facilitate connections between clients and dietitians but are not a party to any agreements, transactions, or relationships formed through the Service. We do not provide medical or nutrition advice. All professional services are provided directly by the listed dietitians, who are independent practitioners.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT VERIFY THE QUALIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS, OR QUALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY LISTED DIETITIANS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIETITIANS OF AMERICA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dietitians of America and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Content Rights

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
